Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for providing configuration information related to paging in a wireless communication system. There is provided a method for transmitting information related to paging by a base station in a wireless communication system, the method comprises obtaining paging configuration assistance information including information indicating a number of subgroups related to the paging, the paging configuration assistance information required for configuring a transmission of a paging signal, and transmitting, to a user equipment (UE), configuration information related to the paging signal based on the paging configuration assistance information.
