Abstract:
Disclosed is a method and apparatus for providing a financial transaction service. The method and apparatus of the present invention enable financial transactions such as deposits/withdrawals, payment, account transfers and the like to be performed in a credit card affiliate store via an account transfer system using a personal identification medium in which unique identification information is recorded, thereby achieving improved convenience in enabling customers to carry out financial transactions anywhere at any time without being restricted by place or time, and designing and providing a financial transaction service in an inexpensive manner.
