Abstract:
Various embodiments of the present invention provide a method and an apparatus for personally coaching exercise of a user in an electronic device. According to various embodiments of the present invention, an electronic device may comprise a sensor circuit and a processor, wherein the processor is configured to: determine at least one piece of activity information satisfying a designated condition, among one or more pieces of activity information previously obtained in association with a movement of a user; determine a first exercise intensity of the user, at least on the basis of a change according to the passage of time of the at least one piece of activity information; determine a second exercise intensity obtained by adjusting the first exercise intensity, at least on the basis of an exercise goal previously set in association with the user; and provide guide information associated with the second exercise intensity. Various embodiments are possible.
