Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for recognizing exercise and an apparatus for same comprising: an acceleration sensor unit for measuring the acceleration value of three axial directions including upward and downward, left and right, and forward and backward directions; an angular velocity sensor unit for measuring the angular velocity value of three axial directions including upward and downward, left and right, and forward and backward directions; a processing unit for generating a first exercising state value based on the acceleration value of the three axial directions and the angular velocity value of the three axial directions; and a user interface unit for controlling a sleep mode or an alive mode of the processing unit.
