Abstract:
Disclosed are a method for recognizing exercise and an apparatus for same, comprising: a sensor signal-collecting unit worn on the head of a user and including a three-axial direction acceleration sensor, the three-axial directions including upward and downward, left and right, and forward and backward directions, and a location measuring sensor for measuring the location of the user; and an exercise posture-deriving unit for deriving a walking or running exercise state value including the acceleration, velocity, and location of the center of mass of the user, by receiving signals from the sensor signal-collecting unit and using a three-axial direction acceleration signal and location signal, and deriving the walking or running posture by analyzing the walking or running exercise state value.
