Abstract:
A method of recovering fine adhesive particles from a discharge gas stream which
comprises introducing at least one gas stream into the discharge gas stream containing
fine adhesive particles dispersed therein from a direction within ±100°
based on the direction making an angle of 180° with the flow direction for
the discharge gas stream. Thus, fine adhesive particles which have diffused
and scattered in a discharge gas during the spray drying or pulse combustion drying
of, e.g., a rubber solution or rubber emulsion can be recovered from the discharge
gas stream. Also provided is an apparatus for use in the method.
