Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for recovering a solvent and, more specifically, provides a method for recovering a solvent, the method comprising the steps of: feeding polymerization reactants including one or more monomers and a solvent into a reactor to obtain a polymeric solution (S10); feeding a stream containing the polymeric solution into a separator to separate an overhead discharge stream containing the solvent as a gas phase and a bottom discharge stream containing the polymeric solution (S20); and heating, by a heater, a branch stream obtained by branching of some of the bottom discharge stream of the separator and then refluxing the branch stream to the separator, and feeding a remainder stream containing the remainder of the bottom discharge stream of the separator into a steam stripping process unit (S30), wherein the branch stream refluxed to the separator after being heated by the heater has a vapor fraction adjusted by a pressure control valve.
