Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and apparatus for reducing the electricity consumption of a multi-link terminal, and a storage medium. The method comprises: a first logical entity receiving a first message, wherein the first message includes a Frame body parameter and at least three address parameters, and the at least three address parameters are a first address parameter, a second address parameter and at least one third address parameter; and sending updated system messages included in the Frame body parameter to a second logical entity according to an address indicated by the third address parameter, or storing the updated system messages in a data storage space of the second logical entity inside a terminal. According to the present invention, updated system messages on all links operated by a multi-link terminal are acquired on one link, such that logical entities operated on the other links are in a dormant state, and do not need to periodically monitor broadcast messages; therefore, the electricity consumption can be reduced, thereby guaranteeing the endurance capacity of the multi-link terminal, also ensuring that the multi-link terminal can correctly use network access data when in an active state, and improving the network transmission efficiency.
