Abstract:
A method and apparatus for reducing multi-carrier signal ratio of peak power to average power, the characters of this method are: modulate the multi-carrier signals respectively, then add these modulated signals to form a combination signal, according to the combination signal, single compensate or combination compensate by computing and searching on at least one carrier, obtain the resultant compensate signal, add the compensate signal to the combination signal to produce compensated signal. The present invention effectively reduces multi-carrier signals ratio of peak power to average power.
