Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method and apparatus for regulating a screen refresh rate. The method for regulating a screen refresh rate in an electronic device comprises: identifying at least one detection parameter related to the screen refresh rate of the electronic device; identifying whether the at least one detection parameter is changed; determining a regulation strategy for regulating the screen refresh rate of the electronic device based on at least one changed detection parameter, in response to the at least one detection parameter being changed; and regulating the screen refresh rate of the electronic device based on the determined regulation strategy. According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, the screen refresh rate may be intelligently regulated, and the power consumption and the heat generation of the device may be effectively reduced.
