Provided is an optical disc repairing apparatus wherein performance of repairing scratches on an optical disc is high, operational troubles of an operator are eliminated and manufacturing cost of the apparatus is suppressed.  An optical disc repairing method is also provided. While polishing is being performed, a suitable quantity of an abrasive is dropped on the read surface of a disc to be repaired (100) by using an abrasive supplying pump (40), and water evaporated from the abrasive due to polishing heat is replenished by using a polishing water supplying pump (30) while supplying the abrasive between the disc to be repaired (100) and polishing pads (24a, 24b).  Thus, the quantity and the properties of the abrasive existing between the disc to be repaired (100) and the polishing pads (24a, 24b) can be correctly maintained over a long period of time, and high repairing performance can be maintained.
