Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and apparatus for reporting uplink control information (UCI). The method comprises: determining more than two candidate UCI reporting carriers that are used for reporting UCI and that are corresponding to unlicensed carriers; and reporting the UCI by using the determined more than two candidate UCI reporting carriers. By means of the present invention, the problem, in the prior art, of failure to feed back UCI due to unsuccessful execution of CCA on unlicensed carriers by a terminal and the problem of reduction of the success rate of downlink data transmission due to failure to obtain information about a downlink channel are resolved; accordingly the effects are achieved: the terminal can feed back the UCI when the terminal fails to execute the CCA on the unlicensed carriers, it is ensured that the base station obtains the information about the downlink channel in time, and the success rate of downlink data transmission is improved.
