Abstract:
In order for the difference between an actual value and a target value of the sheet profile of a product by a tandem mill to be reflected in the rolling of the next material, a load pattern for the next rolling material is changed according to the difference between a target value and an actual value of a crown ratio of the rolling material. At this time, coefficients of a crown load/ratio and load/load ratio are calculated, and crown ratio differences are determined sequentially based on load ratios of preceding stage stands so as to decide the change quantity of the load ratio of each stand. An output thickness from each stand is calculated by specifying the load pattern of the next material while taking this change quantity into consideration, and rolling is made on the basis of this calculated value.
