Abstract:
The present invention encompasses an electronic device having a method of securing an electronic device against unauthorized removal and usage outside a predetermined geographical boundary. A security lockout system is provided. Upon activation of the system, a geographical boundary is determined. If the electronic device is moved out of the geographical boundary, an alarm function is activated and all th functions of the electronic device are locked out.
