Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and apparatus for selecting an accessory in a virtual environment, and a device and a readable storage medium, wherein same relate to the field of virtual environments. The method comprises: displaying a first virtual environment interface; receiving a trigger operation on an accessory switching control; displaying, according to the trigger operation, a candidate accessory area on a local area on a peripheral side of the accessory switching control; receiving a selection operation on a target firearm accessory among n firearm accessories; and displaying a second virtual environment interface according to the selection operation. An accessory display control is displayed and superimposed on the screen; when a trigger operation on the accessory display control is received, a candidate accessory area is displayed on a peripheral side of the accessory display control and n firearm accessories of the same accessory type are displayed; and a user can select any accessory from among the n firearm accessories and fit same to a target slot with no need to open a backpack to perform selection on accessories to be selected, so that human-computer interaction efficiency is relatively high.
