Abstract:
Provided are a method and apparatus for selecting an uplink antenna. The method comprises: receiving, from a network device, an index of a precoding matrix and the number of layers of uplink transmission; determining a first target codebook according to the number of layers of uplink transmission and the number of physical antennas of a communication apparatus, wherein the first target codebook comprises multiple first precoding matrices; and according to a first target precoding matrix, corresponding to the index, in the multiple first precoding matrices, determining a target physical antenna for sending uplink information by means of the communication apparatus. According to the embodiments of the present application, by means of providing, in a codebook, multiple precoding matrices that can indicate physical antennas, communication apparatuses under various antenna capabilities can all select, from multiple physical antennas, a physical antenna for sending uplink information.
