Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and apparatus for sending text information and a method and apparatus for acquiring text information. The method for sending text information comprises: when a specified audio signal is detected, acquiring text information input by a user; performing character encoding on the text information, so as to generate a code source to be transmitted to a switch; and sending the code source to the switch. The switch converts the code source into a character string of a specified format and sends the character string to an interactive voice response system, and finally, the interactive voice response system decodes the character string sent by the switch into text information. By means of the method, a terminal can send text information to an IVR, thereby making the IVR more usable and efficient, and extending the function of an IVR service.
