Abstract:
The present application provides a method and apparatus for sending a data packet, and a computer-readable storage medium. The method comprises: obtaining the virtual address of first user data to sent in a user memory; writing the header of the transmission layer of a first data packet into the buffer zone of the transmission layer, the first data packet comprising the first user data; converting the virtual address of the first data packet into a physical address, the virtual address of the first data packet comprising the virtual address of the first user data in the user memory and the virtual address of the header of the transmission layer of the first data packet in the buffer zone; and according to the physical address obtained after the conversion, sending the first data packet by means of a network card. In the technical solution provided by the present application, the virtual address of the first data packet comprises virtual addresses in two different storage areas of the memory, i.e., the first data packet is constructed and organized across a memory area, such that it is not required to copy user data, and thus, the occupation of CPU resources during the process of sending the data packet can be reduced.
