Abstract:
The present application provides a method and apparatus for sending or displaying a network detection result. The method comprises: an AP receives failure indication information from a STA, the failure indication information being used for indicating that the STA has a network failure; the AP obtains a network detection result; the AP sends the network detection result to the STA according to the failure indication information. In the above solution, the failure indication information is automatically generated after the STA has encountered the network failure, and the user does not need to operate, so that the user can determine a network failure cause without professional knowledge, and unnecessary loss of the reputation of a mobile phone manufacturer and a router manufacturer is avoided.
