Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method for sending positioning information, which is applicable to a base station. The method comprises: receiving positioning information sent by a core network; and in response to receiving first indication information sent by the core network, using a signaling, which is used to instruct a terminal to enter a non-connected state, to carry the positioning information so as to send said information to the terminal, the first indication information indicating that the positioning information is used by the terminal in the non-connected state. According to the present disclosure, a core network can send positioning information to a base station, and can also send first indication information to the base station, so that the base station can determine, for the received positioning information, whether to use a signaling for instructing a terminal to enter a non-connected state to carry the positioning information so as to send said information to the terminal, thus avoiding the situation in which the base station cannot determine whether to use a downlink information transmission signaling to carry the positioning information so as to send said information to the terminal, or use a signaling for instructing the terminal to enter the non-connected state to carry the positioning information so as to send said information to the terminal, thereby preventing problems from occurring when sending the positioning information.
