Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for a device to set advertising messages on Bluetooth LE (Low Energy), wherein: a host of the device transmits to a controller of the device a first parameter-setting command for setting parameters of two or more advertising messages, and receives, as a response to the parameter-setting command from the controller, a first completion command indicating that the parameter setting has been completed; the host transmits to the controller a first data-setting command for setting first data including the two or more advertising messages, and receives, as a response to the data-setting command from the controller, a second completion command indicating that the data setting has been completed; and the host transmits to the controller a first instruction command instructing transmission of the two or more advertising messages.
