Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and apparatus for sending a synchronization symbol. The method comprises: a network side device determining to receive an uplink synchronization symbol in one time slot resource, and being connected to a user node by means of a twisted pair, wherein the user node is connected to at least two CPEs, the at least two CPEs communicate with the network side device by means of TDD, and the time slot resource is a complete time slot allocated to one CPE of the at least two CPEs for use, a TDD frame in the complete time slot or a symbol in the TDD frame; sending a first indication message to one CPE of the at least two CPEs, wherein the first indication message indicates that the CPE occupies the time slot resource and sends the uplink synchronization symbol in the time slot resource; and receiving the uplink synchronization symbol in the time slot resource. The problem that uplink crosstalk, caused by calculating an uplink crosstalk cancellation coefficient based on uplink synchronization symbols sent by different CPEs, cannot be accurately eliminated can be solved.
