Abstract:
A method for separating hydrocarbons which comprises a step (a) of cooling a raw material gas and condensing a part thereof to carry out a gas-liquid separation; a step (b) of feeding the liquid obtained in the step (a) to a distillation column; a step (c) of expanding the gas obtained in the step (a) by an expander and condensing a part thereof, to carry out a gas-liquid separation; a step (d) of feeding the liquid obtained in the step (c) to the distillation column; a step (e) of dividing a gas obtained in the step (c) into a first portion and a second portion; a step (f) of feeding the first portion to the distillation column; a step (g) of compressing and cooling the second portion to, condense it, and then reducing the pressure thereof and feeding the resultant liquid to the distillation column as a reflux; and a step (h) of producing a residual gas from the top of the distillation column and producing a heavy fraction from the bottom of the distillation column; and a system for practicing the method. The method and system can be used for carrying out the separation of hydrocarbons with good efficiency.
