Abstract:
A method and apparatus for setting the path state are provided by the present invention belonging to the communication technique field. The method for setting the path state includes: obtaining the times of the counting change of the error counter of the path within fixed time, wherein the counting change does not include the change of resetting the error counter; determining whether the times of the counting change are larger than or equal to a preset threshold value; if so, setting the path as a de-active state when the path is currently in an active state. The apparatus for setting the path state includes: an obtaining module, a determining module and a first setting module. The present invention can avoid performing a large number of retransmissions of messages when the Qos of the path reduces, so that not only the transmission bandwidth is saved, but also the processing ability of the system is improved.
