Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and apparatus for setting the transparency of a screen menu, an audio/video playing device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: receiving screen menu data; setting the transparency of a to-be-adjusted region in the received screen menu data as a preset transparency; superposing the screen menu data of which the transparency is set and a received external video signal and then outputting the superposed screen menu data and external video signal to a display screen for displaying, the preset transparency being a transparency expect for non-transparency. By setting the transparency of a background in the received screen menu data as the preset transparency, superposing the screen menu data of which the transparency of the background is set and the received external video signal, and then outputting the superposed screen menu data and external video signal to the display screen for displaying, so as to display a screen menu at least with a semi-transparent background when displaying the superposed external video signal and screen menu data, the method allows a user to see the external video signal that is covered by the background of the screen menu, thereby improving user experience.
