A method and apparatus for spectating a game after a character is killed, and an electronic device and a storage medium. The method comprises: after a virtual character corresponding to a terminal device is killed, displaying, in a graphical user interface of the terminal device, a spectating picture that is the same as a target game picture of a spectated target virtual character; in response to an angle-of-view adjustment operation for the spectating picture, adjusting the spectating picture; and in response to the disappearance of the angle-of-view adjustment operation, restoring the spectating picture to be consistent with the target game picture of the target virtual character. A user can adjust an angle of view of a spectating picture by means of an angle-of-view adjustment operation during a spectating process, and by means of ending the angle-of-view adjustment operation, the spectating picture can be restored to a picture that is consistent with that of a spectated user, such that the interestingness of the spectating process is improved, and strategic communication with teammates can be facilitated, so as to provide a powerful fighting guide for the teammates, thereby improving the sense of participation of a user of a killed character in the whole team fighting process.
