Abstract:
A method and apparatus that support user terminal to access network in the fixed access network are provided, in order to solve the related art problem that the user terminal can not quickly handover or find NAP/NSP network in the fixed access network. According to the technical scheme of the present invention, the access device in the fixed access network provides information associated with the network access such as NAP or NSP network information and the sub-network identifier to the user terminal within its sub-network, it enables the user terminal to quickly handover and quickly find NAP/NSP network.
