Abstract:
A method for switching a network function virtualisation orchestrator (NFVO), comprising: a virtualised network function manager (VNFM) or a virtualised infrastructure manager (VIM) receiving an instruction message giving an instruction for modifying a main NFVO, wherein the main NFVO is an NFVO performing operation maintenance and management on the VNFM or VIM; the VNFM or VIM sending, to an original NVFO, a request message to make a request for confirming whether to modify the main NFVO, or sending, to a target NFVO, a request message to make a request for being added as a managed node, or respectively sending, to the original NFVO or the target NFVO, a confirmation message confirming the modification of the main NFVO, so as to switch the main NFVO.
