Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a method and an apparatus for switching services in a backup network, comprising: detecting an abnormality in the service link from a layer 2 aggregation device attached to a first device to a network; and switching the service carried over the service link of the first device to a second device; one or a plurality of the same layer 2 aggregation devices are attached to the first device, and one or a plurality of the same layer 2 aggregation devices are attached to the second device, the first device and the second device forming a main and standby relationship. The present application solves the technical problems in the prior art of complicated service flow transmission processing and the switching of the main and standby states of the entire machine influencing other normal links when an abnormality occurs in a main service link of an attached aggregation device, improving the service reliability in a main and standby network.
