Abstract:

A method and apparatus for switching subframe configurations provided in the present invention, which relate to the field of communications, and are used for switching subframe configurations, and can decrease the impact of subframe configurations switching on a service of a terminal to a great extent, thereby improving service experience of the terminal. The method comprises: a base determines that a configuration of a cell needs to be switched from a first configuration to a second configuration, and notifies a terminal in the cell, of the change of the subframe configuration of the cell; when a first time period after the base station makes the notification is reached, the base station sends the second configuration to the terminal in the cell; and when a second time period after the base station sends the second configuration is reached, the base station makes the second configuration effective, the base station not performing new scheduling on the terminal in the cell in the first time period, and the base station not performing scheduling on the terminal in the cell in the second time period.
