Abstract:
The present application provides a method and an apparatus for switching a telephone call mode, and an electronic device. The method comprises: detecting that a first terminal and a second terminal are connected to a same assigned network when the first terminal calls the second terminal in a public switched telephone network (PSTN) call mode; switching the PSTN call mode established between the first terminal and the second terminal to a voice over Internet protocol (VOIP) call mode; and establishing a VOIP connection between the first terminal and the second terminal by means of the assigned network. The present application solves the problem in the prior art that a PSTN call mode cannot be switched to a VOIP call mode when a calling party calls a called party in the PSTN call mode, thereby implementing automatic switching of a PSTN call to a VOIP call, and reducing fees.
