Abstract:

Disclosed are a method and apparatus for switching a wireless access point, and a train, wherein the method comprises: detecting a plurality of wireless APs to be connected located around a vehicle-mounted AP; determining a wireless AP, in a link being established currently, currently having a communication connection with the vehicle-mounted AP; acquiring a first signal strength value of each wireless AP to be connected within a pre-set time, and acquiring a second signal strength value of the wireless AP, in the link being established currently, within the pre-set time; respectively calculating a first time window factor of each wireless AP to be connected according to the first signal strength value; calculating a second time window factor of the wireless AP, in the link being established currently, according to the second signal strength value; determining a target wireless AP to be connected from the plurality of wireless AP to be connected according to the second time window factor and the first time window factor of each wireless AP to be connected; and switching the vehicle-mounted AP to the target wireless AP to be connected. The method may effectively avoid the problem of a ping-pong effect of vehicle-ground wireless AP switching after wireless AP signal coverage is enhanced.
