Abstract:
A method, an apparatus and a system for adapting a projection area. The method comprises: acquiring a distance from a projection device to a projection plane, and acquiring a first image captured by a camera on a same horizontal line as the projection device, wherein the first image is acquired by capturing a second image which is projected from the projection device onto the projection plane; calculating a maximum boundary of the first image by means of a prediction algorithm; according to the maximum boundary, adapting a projection area of the projection device on the projection plane. The present invention resolves the problem in related technologies wherein a projection area of a projection device cannot be adapted.
