Abstract:
A method, an apparatus and a system for establishing a local switch are disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention, wherein the method includes: if the conditions of establishing a local switch are satisfied, informing, by sending an assignment request message to a base station subsystem, the base station subsystem of resources assigned to the two calls which constitute a session, and querying whether the base station subsystem is able to switch locally; acquiring the information whether the base station subsystem is able to switch locally by receiving an assignment completion message returned by the base station subsystem; if the base station subsystem is able to switch locally, instructing the base station subsystem to switch locally. With the technical schemes of the embodiments in the present invention, the transmission resources of the interface A are saved.
