Abstract:
The present application discloses a method, apparatus, and system for linking VRRP to a service interface, and a storage apparatus. The method comprises: monitoring the state change of a first service interface connected to a primary device; determining whether the first service interface, which has undergone a state change, is an interface in a first monitor group; determining, according to the state change of the first service interface, whether the state of the first service interface is a malfunction state; determining whether all first service interfaces in the first monitor group are in the malfunction state; if the first service interface that has undergone the state change is an interface in the first monitor group, the state of the first service interface is the malfunction state, and all first service interfaces in the first monitor group are in the malfunction state, triggering, by means of Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol, a backup device to re-select a new primary device and automatically switch service data to the new primary device. By means of the method, the present application links a service interface to VRRP, thereby reducing the time that service data is impacted.
