Abstract:
Provided are a method, apparatus and system for sending a terminal policy. After determining that a terminal is inaccessible, a mobility management network element may send a notification, indicating that the forwarding of a first message fails, to a visited-policy control function network element; on the basis of the notification, the visited-policy control function network element can determine a first PTI allocated to a first policy by means of a home-policy control function network element, and send the first PTI and indication, indicating that the forwarding of the first message fails, together to the home-policy control function network element, so as to notify the home-policy control function network element, such that unnecessary sending by the home-policy control function network element can be effectively avoided.
