Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, apparatus and system for using a mobile terminal as a handset of an IP telephone set. The method is applied to an IP telephone set communicating with a communication peer-end, and comprises: when an instruction signal used for instructing the use of a mobile terminal as a handset of an IP telephone set is detected, establishing a communication channel with the mobile terminal; sending a starting instruction to the mobile terminal through the communication channel, wherein the starting instruction is used for instructing the mobile terminal to play audio data received from the IP telephone set through the communication channel; and sending, to the mobile terminal through the communication channel, the audio data received from the communication peer-end. Accordingly, the mobile terminal can be used as the handset of the IP telephone set, and the requirements of leaving within a short distance even though a Bluetooth headset is not worn when the IP telephone set is used to perform communication, thereby resolving the problem of high hardware costs existing in the prior art.
