Abstract:
A throttle valve controller that maintains drivability even while a canister is purged. The throttle valve controller controls the opening of a throttle valve for controlling the quantity of air to an engine, which comprises a canister for adsorbing gasoline vapor and a purging solenoid valve for supplying the gasoline vapor adsorbed in the canister to a suction system. The throttle valve controller comprises calculation means for calculating the purge flow supplied through the purging solenoid valve, and corrective means for decreasing the throttle valve opening according to the purge flow calculated by the means.
