Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for transmitting power and data, by which power and information (data) can be transmitted at the same time without a contact. The apparatus has: a power transmitting coil, which is configured by means of a planarly wound coil and a magnetic shield body disposed on the rear surface of the coil; and an information transmitting coil, which is configured by means of a planarly wound coil and a magnetic shield body disposed on the rear surface of the coil. The coil diameter of the information transmitting coil and the coil diameter of the power transmitting coil are different from each other, a pair of coil units, each of which has the information transmitting coil and the power transmitting coil laminated and disposed therein, are magnetically coupled, and data is transmitted, while transmitting power.
