Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of mobile communications, and particularly to a method for sending a synchronization signal. A network device acquires a first signal after discrete Fourier transform (DFT) and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) modulation are performed or the OFDM modulation is performed on a ZC sequence a radical exponent of which is 1; the network device acquires a second signal after the DFT and the OFDM modulation are performed or the OFDM modulation is performed on a conjugate sequence of the ZC sequence the radical exponent of which is 1; the network device generates synchronization signals, the synchronization signals comprising the first signal and the second signal; and the network device sends the synchronization signals to a terminal device. By using the method, M2M service requirements can still be satisfied in a case in which frequency deviation exists between a terminal device and a network device.
