Abstract:
A transporting apparatus for fragmented or viscid material comprises a screw conveyor, the worm of which is both rotatable and axially displaceable in a surrounding worm tube. According to the invention the driving means used for effecting these respective movements are individually controllable, whereby a sensor controlled operation is achievable for obtaining different desirable operation results.
