Abstract:
A method and apparatus for updating a map, and a computer-readable storage medium, which are used to improve the accuracy of an updated map. The apparatus for updating a map receives data of a first data type and data of a second data type from multiple data acquisition devices, obtains from the data of the first data type first information of a map element, and obtains from the data of the second data type second information of the map element; and determines, according to the first information and the second information of the map element, target information of the map element on a map. Since data of two different data types can comprise more information compared to data of one data type, more accurate information of map elements can be obtained by combining data of two data types, thus improving the accuracy of an updated map.
