Abstract:
Disclosed herein are a method and an apparatus for updating and receiving broadcasting system information, in which the method for updating the broadcasting system information comprises: obtaining broadcasting system change information of a cell or a node and updating a system information table (SIT), the SIT comprising the broadcasting system information of one or more cells or one or more nodes; and transmitting a change indication message of the SIT to the cell or the node and broadcasting the updated SIT, such that after receiving the change indication message, the cell or the node broadcasts to the user equipment the message that the SIT has changed. This solves the problem that the user equipment cannot timely obtain the updated SIT in the related technology.
