Abstract:
Provided are a method and apparatus for uplink data transmission of a wireless broadband terminal device. By determining information about the number of repetitions by means of a base station according to a coverage enhancement requirement of a wireless broadband terminal device, and sending coverage enhancement configuration information to the wireless broadband terminal device, since the information about the number of repetitions included in the coverage enhancement configuration information is determined by the base station according to the coverage enhancement requirement of the wireless broadband terminal device, the target number of repetitions used by the wireless broadband terminal device for uplink data transmission is more rational, and the effect of coverage enhancement is improved.
