Abstract:
An apparatus for utilizing the radiation energy by $g(a) in an electric power generating system, which has a fuel activating device (5), a feed air activating device (2) and a neutron energy irradiating device (3),wherein a feed fuel and an intake air being necessary for combustion in a combustion device in the electric power generating system are irradiated with a radiation by $g(a)of a natural radioactive element irradiating 0.6 becquerel or more of $g(a) ray and with the neutron generated at the same time, to thereby convert the oxygen in the intake air to an active oxygen and achieve complete combustion of the feed fuel with the resulting intake air; the above apparatus which further has a feed water activating device (9) with an aerator for the feed water to a steam generator and an exhaust gas clarifying device (7) with an aerator for the exhaust gas from the combustion device.
