Abstract:
This method for applying an ultraviolet curable coating material and this method for producing an ultraviolet cured film comprise: a step for supplying an ultraviolet curable coating material containing an ultraviolet curable acrylic monomer into a mixer (31) under a condition of 8 MPa or more without diluting the coating material with an organic solvent; a step for supplying carbon dioxide at the critical pressure or higher into the mixer (31); a step for forming a mixed fluid by mixing the ultraviolet curable coating material and the carbon dioxide supplied into the mixer (31); a step for forming a coating film by spraying the mixed fluid at the critical pressure of carbon dioxide or higher; and a step for forming an ultraviolet cured film by irradiating the coating film with ultraviolet light. Consequently, the present invention provides: a method for applying an ultraviolet curable coating material, which enables the safe achievement of an ultraviolet cured film having excellent planarity and good appearance quality, while reducing VOC by totally replacing the organic solvent with carbon dioxide and carrying out the application under specific conditions; and a method for producing an ultraviolet cured film.
