Abstract:
A method for assaying chondrocalcine by immunological technique using enzyme-labeled chondrocalcine or anti-chondrocalcine antibody of a mammal, which comprises using the body fluid of a mammal as a specimen and assaying chondrocalcine of the mammal utilizing immuno-reaction in a solution, is disclosed. Assaying reagents and kits for the method are also disclosed. The method, reagents and kits can be utilized for, e.g., diagnosis of cartilaginous diseases of mammals.
