Abstract:
A method for assembling a screen of a portable device, comprising: placing a display module (2) and cover glass (1) in a casing (3) (301); and providing an adhesive between side edges of the display module (2) and inner side walls of the casing (3), such that the side edges of the display module (2) and the inner side walls of the casing (3) are bonded (302) by the adhesive. The method is applicable to portable devices such as mobile phones, tablet computers, smart bracelets, smart watches, and laptops. The approaches of back face dispensing and side face bonding minimize the distance from the side edges of the display module (2) to the outer side walls of the casing (3), thereby narrowing the black bezel of a screen, increasing the screen-to-body ratio, improving the use experience of a device, and at the same time, resolving the defect of light leakage of a screen.
