In this method for assembling a stator, a coil is pushed out from the radially inward side to the radially outward side of an annular coil assembly to which an insulation member is attached, the coil being pushed out from a state in which the coil assembly is positioned on the radially inward side of a stator core, whereby the coil is inserted into a slot.
