Abstract:
Provided is a method for assessing the remaining service life of a pipe which makes it possible to assess the remaining service life of a pipe using a simple and quick operation. The method has: a pipe inner-diameter derivation step (S1) for deriving the inner diameter (D) of a pipe; a pipe inner-diameter deformation amount derivation step (S2) for deriving the inner-diameter deformation amount (ΔD) from the difference between the inner diameter of the pipe and the initial inner diameter (D0) of the pipe; a deformation projection diagram creation step (S3a) for creating a deformation projection diagram under the condition that the pipe swelling reaches a service-life expansion limit (X) at an arbitrary assessed remaining service life (T); a determination standard deformation amount acquisition step (S3b) for acquiring the deformation amount (A) obtained when deriving the inner diameter of the pipe during the pipe inner-diameter derivation step, as a standard for determining the presence/absence of the assessed remaining service life, on the basis of the deformation projection diagram; a cumulative error calculation step (S3c) for calculating the cumulative error (B) when deriving the pipe inner diameter; and a remaining service life determination step (S4) for determining the remaining service life of the pipe on the basis of the pipe inner-diameter deformation amount, the deformation amount, which serves as the standard for determining the presence/absence of the assessed remaining service life, and the cumulative error.
